Physicians’ Foundation Report on “Physicians and Their Practices Under Health Care Reform”

This is a report commissioned by The Physicians’ Foundation and sent yesterday (09-09-09) to every member of Congress prior to President Obama’s “Remarks to a Joint Session of Congress on Health Care”.  While the funding for this report was provided by The Physicians’ Foundation, the Foundation had no influence or involvement on the contents and outcome of the report.  And, while the Foundation does not dispute that there are many projected accuracies in the report, it is our responsibility to disclose that some of the comments contained therein are disclaimed by some members of the Foundation board.  We strongly urge to you review the report and draw your own conclusions based on what you read.

Michael T. Kornett is CEO of the Medical Society of New Jersey and also serves on The Physicians’ Foundation Board of Directors.
